Okay, thats pretty simple.
1. choose the
Variable Flow theme for S2 (there might be other themes that give you the option of changing right/left/center layout, that one is just the one I'm using now)
2. click the
edit customizations under change individual settings.
3. There will be 5 tabs at the top (colors, layout, presentation, option and text). Choose
layout
4. The top two drop down menus control the margins on wither side of the page. For a the journal to be on the right choose "tiny" for the
page left margin and "massive" for the
page right margin.
5. Click save
To add a background image:
1. Same as above, click the
edit customizations button.
2. Choose the
Presentation tab.
3. Scroll down to where it says
Page Background Image URL. Enter the URL for the image.
4. Click save.
Other things about customizations:
List of available customizations for different themes (using S2), can be found
here
Depending on what you want, I would just play around with the different styles/themes/colors/etc until you get it the way you want it. It takes might take a little while, but its pretty fun screwing it up in the process ^__^
